The Alberta Association of Academic Libraries (AAAL) is currently seeking a host institution for our Fall 2021 meeting, to be held online in early December 2021. As an online meeting, this is an excellent opportunity for hosts from institutions outside of Alberta’s larger cities to showcase their institution to our colleagues across the province and contribute to AAAL.
What is involved with acting as a AAAL meeting host institution? Some responsibilities/tools include:
- An online platform for hosting a synchronous meeting, including the AAAL business meeting and professional development programming.
- A point of contact on the day of the meeting to assist the Learning & Development Committee with technical troubleshooting.
As the Learning & Development Committee develops themes and programming, we also invite potential hosts to share their ideas with us.
